As of Easter weekend, the Office of Admission has surpassed last year’s goals for enrollment for the class of 2012.To date, John Carroll University has received 3,360 applications and has admitted 2,654 students for the freshmen class.

Also, compared to the 83 commitment deposits last year at this time, the Office of Admission has received 1,468 deposits. The Office of Admission is doing an exceptional job and should continue to set the bar high.

These numbers show great improvement and are a good illustration of the University’s high standards. The University is diligently seeking out individuals who are not only a good fit for the school, but who are believed to really contribute to the JCU community.
Additionally, there is a greater number of female deposits than in prior years, putting the University at a 55 to 45  female to male ratio. This is also good news, as we have had a lower number for female enrollment in the past.

The rise in enrollment will also help create more revenue for things like the Master Plan and other ideas for helping to improve the University.
The Office of Admission should be commended on an effective job of helping the the JCU community grow.
