President Bush is planning to ask Congress for $14.6 Billion in aid to go to Afghanistan. The primary goal of this money would be to help beef up the Afghan security forces before the annual spring uprising of the Taliban.

Gibbons yet to miss a beat
To think one of the most impressive streaks in John Carroll University basketball history came down to a coin flip. Senior Jessica Gibbons has played in all 98 games of her JCU career. However, Gibbons was torn in her choice of colleges. So torn that her decision came down to a coin flip.
Changes for SUPB
In recent years, the Student Union Programming Board (SUPB) has heard complaints that its choices didn’t really reflect the desires of most students. The current SUPB deserves credit for a number of decisions that were made to meet the needs of students.
What keeps you up at night?
Sleep. Many college students do it out of necessity, some during class lectures and others put it aside to cram for tests or finish last-minute papers. Some students even do it for fun, sleeping during their free time or napping recreationally. It shows up under “Activities” and “Interests” in thousands of Facebook profiles.
Make SUPB the thing to do
I have to say that after two and a half years on campus all SUPB has done for me is hook me up with a few free T-shirts. It has not been my “something to do.”
