A Trio of All-Regional runners carry Blue Streaks to a program record fifth place finish

Three John Carroll University women’s cross country runners put together an all-regional effort as the team finished fifth in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional in Terre Haute, Indiana, on Saturday, Nov. 14.


JCU finished with an overall score of 157. The fifth place showing is the best in the history of the program.


Junior Becky Rohwer led the day for the Blue Streaks with a time of 22:31, which placed her 14th.


Sophomore Erin Kiley and junior Schasia Modrzynski finished 27th and 29th , respectively. They both earned All-Great Lakes Region honors for their efforts. Kiley finished with a time of 22:53,and Modrzynski was close behind at 22:57. 


Senior Ang Bucci came in at 41st overall with a time of 23:08, and fellow senior Hanna Sterle clocked in at 23:25.
