Manhattan is not the only city that puts on a show to kick off the holiday season. On Saturday, Nov. 29, Huntington Bank will be hosting Cleveland’s Winterfest in the PlayhouseSquare District.
The day will consist of dozens of family-friendly activities to get people in the holiday spirit. Local artisans will have their creations for sale at the “Holiday Pop Up Shop.” The Old Stone Church Choir will also be performing. Huntington is providing food trucks on E. 12th and Huron Street as well as horse-drawn carriage rides. The day will conclude with fireworks.
Christmas trees will be on display in Allen Theatre, which will be available to the public even after the event, beginning at 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. on weekends.
Event-goers will have the opportunity to promote the event and their city by posting pictures and tweets about their experience with the hashtag, “ThisisCle.” For more information, visit downtowncleveland.com.
